About this Training

Bespoke Team Workshop designed to explore and reflect on where the team experiences and acts in regards to Safeguarding Children. Agree a plan with SMART actions to take forward. An opportunity to explore professional dilemmas in a safe space. By the end of the session you will: ◾ Explore how you sit as a team in relation to Safeguarding. ◾ Explore your values in relation to the people you come into contact with. ◾ Reflect on bespoke case examples. ◾ Agree a action plan, with SMART objectives, to work towards in relation to safeguarding children as a team. Who is it for ◾ A group of people that work together and have a specific area of safeguarding that they would like to explore as a team, improve their understanding of this area and make a plan on how they will improve their practice in relation to this topic, with SMART actions. ◾ For example – Safeguarding Leads, health centre staff, youth offending service (YOS), midwives, Children’s Centre staff, education setting. Topics could include: ◾ Including men in their work with families ◾ Contextual Safeguarding ◾ Understanding how child development can inform safeguarding concerns. ◾ Domestic Abuse and Safeguarding children Please note, as this is only a half day session, this will not be an in-depth training session of the topic, but an exploration of the topic in relation to the setting / work the team is responsible for. Session details ◾ Half day session ◾ Cost £550 ◾ This will include an hour virtual meeting to discuss and agree your requirements.
